Mushu, the first non-human animal that I can get alone well, died last week "sometime" in his Seattle home, at age >1. His body was found upside down in the entrance to the basement bedroom. The reason of the death, according to his "dad", was an accident of eating stupid duct tape.
For those of you know me, I am "allergic" to all kinds of animals.
uh, ok, yes, I am afraid of getting close to them even though I had no recoreded incidents of being attacked by any of them. I don't know how to communicate with them so I am afraid to be with them. ( I know some of you have told me that human beings are somtimes even more difficult to communicate with... but oh well..)
Therefore, when I say I can get alone with Mushu well, that means I can at least be in the same room with him, getting close to his cage, and help feeding him ( a Huge step for me... lol). This spring, his two dads even renovated his home by getting a fancy cage and connected that to his old one to provide him more room. We were just thinking about getting him a "mice car" or "mice motorcycle" so that he can have more fun other then staying in his home.
I don't really remember since when that visiting Mushu became my daily activity, but I know Mushu became part of my life the very last few months when I was in Seattle.
I even made him a cross-stich name tag hang on his cage before I left...
It is just sad to lose him especially before I ever touched him ( yeah, I wonder if there is such day too! haha..)
I will always have him in my memory for sure..
For those of you never met Muchu, I included a picture of him in my next post.
Mushu: May you have a better next life!!
Luv from Yang
