Stress Level 200%....

While I was sitting in front of my desk pulling out my hair, going crazy on "deciding" which final I should start studying first... ( apparently they are all equally behind on my study schedule... two exams on Thursday and two on Friday.. how are we supposed to manage on studying??.. esp when all of the classes are still on-going... and I have a patient coming tomorrow morning...
can somone please just shot me now? geez... it's just so painful... how does the idea of giving myself some local anesthetic(局部麻醉劑) to my brain sound? )
Anyways, I decided to give myself a little 5-10 minutes break to "escape" up here checking my own blog.. and of course, my emails...
And I found this good article sent to me by one of my friends long time ago.. which I think all of us who are preparing final MONSTER exams should take a look... lol
AND.. that's what I am doing now, giving myself some short BREAKS before I start another painful cycle.. ( or maybe you will say..those are excuses.. hahaha)
ok.. Time's UP. Back to my desk..

壓力管理>

看了一篇不錯的英文短文,覺得很受用,特將原文翻譯給各位參考。
有一位講師於壓力管理的課堂上拿起一杯水,然後問聽眾說:「各位認為這杯水有多重?」
聽眾有的說20公克,有的說
500公克不等。講師則說:「這杯水的重量並不重要,重要的是你能拿多久?拿一分鐘,各位一定覺得沒問題;拿一個小時,可能覺得手酸;拿一天,可能得叫救 護車了。 其實這杯水的重量是一樣的,但是你若拿越久,就覺得越沉重。這就像我們承擔著壓力一樣,如果我們一直把壓力放在身上,不管時間長短,到最後我們就覺得壓力越來越沉重而無法承擔。我們必須做的是,放下這杯水休息一下後再拿起這杯水,如此我們才能夠拿的更久。所以,各位應該將承擔的壓力於一段時間後適時的放下並好好的休息一下,然後再重新拿起來,如此才可承擔久遠。」這就像我們於職場上一樣,我們應該將工作上的壓力於下班時放下而別帶回家了,回家後是應該好好的休息,明天再重新拿起這壓力,如此我們就不會覺得壓力的沉重了。 休息並放鬆一下吧!
